- I had the same problem too... and went quite crazy before apparently solving it...
-
- here is what u need to do:
-
- - Delete IBrowse dir completely and reinstall from archive.
-
- - Check libs: for old IBrowse libraries (http.library, etc), and, if u find any, delete them.
-
- - Check libs: for old MUI libraries or .mcc files (I found one there, just can't understand why)
- and delete them. I have MUI ALL installed in hd0:expansion/MUI.
-
- - Turn off the internal image decoder and use external one with datatypes. get ZGIF DT from Aminet.
-
- - Set the stack to a HUGE size before running IBrowse. I set it to 200.000 and now it works
- quite well on a public screen in 256 colors. Be aware that I made a dock with ToolManager
- for Internet tools and set the stack for IBrowse from there. It did not work. So, I open a new
- shell, set the stack to 200.000, cd to IBrowse home dir and run it from there.
-
- Hope this helps,
- let me know !
